Rowing in Eden
a poem- "Futile the winds - to a heart in port" -Emily Dickinson
She stood in balanced blue
Ebony eyes - a quiet hue
Dark as coffee in the night,
Dragonfly in amber daylight.
The birth of Venus stuck the morn,
Hers was I - Born to adore
Hers was I - Her woman to port
Rowing in Eden - my “Sue - Forevermore!”
Sealing my fate - I entered her gate
I strode upon her orchid moor
Her petals and waves - Her pearl in place
A treasure and feast - Her berry-sweet taste
Rowing in Eden - For blush of rose to kiss her face
Quiet I ponder - Silent in wonder
Of crimson lines once down my spine
Pinking scar - upon my side
Fingers burrowed between my thighs
Fingers plunder - in tandem we sighed.
Rowing in Eden - She gave me gold mines.
Rowing in Eden - We danced upon the line.
Rowing in Eden - Her skin within mine.
Rowing in Eden - Our hearts sweetly tied.
